Three days have passed since the Super Bowl, and it is still the talk of the town. After the Seattle Seahawks and Sam Darnold crushed the New England Patriots at Levi's Stadium on Sunday and were crowned the new champions, the quarterback's fiancée caught everyone's attention.
However, the reason was the photos and videos Katie Hoofnagle shared, revealing emotional moments never seen before the Big Game was played.

On her official Instagram account, the Seahawks QB's future wife has been very active, sharing with her followers updates on her work at Renvio (a technology company that specializes in dialysis machine software to assist patients with kidney conditions), and on her personal life, such as outings with friends and, of course, games and moments with her fiancé. On this occasion, Katie shared a video on her stories showing some moments leading up to the Super Bowl.
In the clip, she shared emotional memories and talked about how she prepared for the Big Game: Katie showed how she did her laundry, packed her bags, and headed to San Francisco. She also included photos with the rival quarterback's wife, Ann Michael Maye, a music show, and a photo of herself combing her curls.
Katie and Sam went public with their relationship in 2023, and after two years of dating, the couple got engaged in July 2025. Since then, Hoofnagle has often been seen at Darnold's games and, of course, was there to support him when he and the Seahawks won the Super Bowl.
Her husband made history in his first season with the team: he completed 19 of 38 passes for 202 yards and one touchdown, with only one sack. In addition, the offense did not commit any turnovers during an entire postseason, while the defense finished the year ranked number one in points allowed per game and pushed the Patriots to the limit, not allowing them to score for three full quarters.
After sealing their victory, Hoofnagle also shared a post on Instagram where, in a lengthy text, she showed him all her love, pride, and support: "As long as I'm alive, you'll always have someone who is proud of you in everything you do," read one of her lines.
Throughout his eight seasons in the NFL, Darnold has played for five different teams: the New York Jets (2018-2020), Carolina Panthers (2021-2022), San Francisco 49ers (2023), Minnesota Vikings (2024), and currently, he has just led the Seahawks to the top by bringing home the Vince Lombardi Trophy for the second time in franchise history since their historic 2013 championship.
