An astrologer has weighed in on Kim Kardashian and Lewis Hamilton's relationship prospects, and the stars don't look entirely promising.
The couple made their relationship public at Sunday's Super Bowl after months of dating quietly. They were first spotted together at Kate Hudson's New Year's Eve party before confirming the romance with their appearance at Levi's Stadium.
This marks Kardashian's first serious relationship since her split from Saturday Night Live comedian Pete Davidson.
Mary Moonstone told Daily Mail on Friday that the pairing between the 45-year-old Libra and the 41-year-old Capricorn faces some serious hurdles ahead.
According to Moonstone, the fundamental differences between their zodiac signs create natural friction. Kardashian was born on October 21, 1980, making her a Libra. Hamilton arrived on January 7, 1985, under the Capricorn sign. The contrast couldn't be starker.
"Libras are more airy, they like to weigh their options and look at both sides of a situation and are open for input and interpretation," said Moonstone. "Capricorns are not like that, they are very grounded and like to follow certain paths. They are really the opposite of airy."
Learning curves and life experience
The differences will show up in everyday situations.
"She may want to fly off on an exotic vacation at the last minute, but he will want to plan trips, stuff like that," noted Moonstone.
Their approaches to decision making diverge completely. Where Kardashian might embrace spontaneity and consider multiple angles, Hamilton prefers methodical planning and proven strategies.
"This is not a match made in heaven," Moonstone told Daily Mail.
However, age and maturity could work in their favor.
"Sometimes an air sign and an earth sign can learn from each other. Considering they are both in their 40s and have life experience under their belts, they may be mature enough to accept the other person's way of thinking," she added. "If they acknowledge that they are different and really learn from each other, it could be a great experience."
"They both appear to be alpha personalities so they have to decide who will bend when, because they will clash on several things. But if they can work that out, that would be lovely."
