Lewis Hamilton found himself the subject of playful questioning from fellow Formula One driver George Russell amid rumours linking him romantically to Kim Kardashian.
The 41-year-old racing legend and the 45-year-old TV personality were spotted together at this year's Super Bowl, fueling speculation about their connection.
During a pre-season F1 photoshoot, Russell approached Hamilton while mic'd up and asked, "All loved up, or, what's the latest?"
The seven-time world champion responded with a grin but did not comment, instead steering the conversation toward where he should sit for the pictures.
Hamilton and Kardashian have not publicly addressed the rumours. When pressed by the media after attending the Levi's Stadium Super Bowl event, Hamilton told Sky Sports' reporter Ted Kravitz, "It's my private life, I'm not talking about that."
A history of friendship before romance rumours
The pair's connection reportedly dates back many years. Hamilton was acquainted with Kardashian and her ex-husband Kanye West, attending social events alongside them, including GQ's Men of the Year awards in London and a Glastonbury concert in 2016.
West even invited Hamilton to Easter brunch with the family, recalling, "Lewis Hamilton's over at my house and we're playing some music in my studio... Everybody's like, 'Oh my God. It's really good.'"
Hamilton has also maintained friendships with Kardashian's family. He is close to her sister Kendall Jenner and has been cheered on by her mother Kris Jenner at the Monaco Grand Prix.
In 2021, Hamilton shared a backstage photo with Kardashian at the Wall Street Journal Innovator Awards, noting her influence in the fashion and entertainment world.
Both have long personal histories: Hamilton previously had a high-profile relationship with Nicole Scherzinger from 2007 to 2015 and has recently been linked to Ashley Moore and British singer Raye.
Meanwhile, Kardashian, who shares four children with Kanye West, is said to have her ex-husband unsettled by her new connection. A source told the Daily Mail, "'Ye is jealous, yup, it feels weird for him... It felt weird with Pete Davidson and now it feels weird with Lewis Hamilton.'"
Despite the buzz, Hamilton continues to focus on his racing career, declining to comment on his private life while the speculation around his relationship with Kardashian intensifies.
