Christian Pulisic: 'I'll be ready for Saturday don't worry'

The #10 jersey for the USMNT exited the game after scoring, due to injury and was taken to the hospital.

Christian Pulisic is one of the best and most important players in the USMNT's roster under manager Gregg Berhalter, the Chelsea FC star player has appeared in several key moments for his team, like today during their third group stage match against Iran, in which he scored the winning goal for his country in the final minutes of the first half.

During the play in which he opened the scoreboard with his first ever World Cup goal, Pulisic collided with the Iranian goalkeeper and spent several minutes in pain while laying on the field.

He managed to continue on the pitch until halftime but didn't came out for the second 45 minutes as Gregg Berhalter and his training staff decided it was best for him to be looked at in a hospital.

Christian Pulisic has given blood, sweat and tears for the United States on a football field and that was proven once again when he had te leave the USMNT's World Cup game against Iran, but not before being injured while scoring the go-ahead and subsequently winning goal in the match.

The player was taken to the hospital, were he posted that he was very proud of his teammates for securing the win after his exit and assured everybody that he'll be ready to play Saturday in the Round of 16 against the Netherlands.

US Soccer confirmed that Pulisic has an abdominal injury and was taken to the hospital to have him checked and scanned.
