After weeks of speculation fueled by flirtatious public sightings, Super Bowl Sunday brought a surprising twist in the ongoing conversation surrounding Tom Brady and Alix Earle.
Despite being linked after a New Year's Eve encounter and appearing close at multiple pregame events, the two were notably separated from each other during the game itself, adding another layer of intrigue to an already headline-grabbing connection.
The NFL legend, now 48, was seen dancing with the social media star just one night earlier at a Super Bowl Eve party in San Francisco.
Images published by the Daily Mail showed Brady and Earle looking relaxed and comfortable together at a private bash, with the retired quarterback cutting loose on the dance floor alongside the influencer.
Yet when kickoff arrived, they appeared to go their separate ways.
Brady and Earle in different places
Earle, 25, watched the Seattle Seahawks defeat the New England Patriots from the comfort of the Raising Cane's suite.
Brady, however, was nowhere to be seen in that setting.
"Alix left on the shuttle with the rest of the people in the Cane's suit," a source told Just Jared. "Tom was nowhere to be seen," they added.
While Earle mingled with celebrities inside the suite, Brady took on a different role during the event.
He was seen helping open the Super Bowl festivities alongside NFL legends Jerry Rice, Peyton Manning, Jalen Hurts, and Steve Young during Green Day's performance, highlighting his continued presence as one of the league's most recognizable faces.
Their absence together during the game stood in contrast to how closely their paths had crossed throughout the weekend. Both attended Michael Rubin's exclusive Fanatics party on Saturday and were also present at the Madden Bowl at the Chase Center on Friday.
Brady and Earle's timely splits
Those repeated appearances only intensified speculation that something more than friendship might be brewing. The renewed attention also comes against the backdrop of both figures' recent relationship changes.
Brady has been single following his 2022 divorce from ex-wife Gisele Bundchen, while Earle split from NFL wide receiver Braxton Berrios late last year.
The speculation surrounding Brady and Earle first gained traction after they were seen together at a New Year's Eve yacht party in St. Barts.
Earle was seen dancing next to Brady, leaning in to whisper in his ear and gently placing her hand on his back. Another clip appeared to show the former quarterback resting his hand near her lower waist.
A source later said: "They were at a yacht party and met, and broke off from the larger group, talking for a lot of the night."
Whether their Super Bowl Sunday separation signals caution or simply conflicting schedules remains unclear. For now, the unanswered questions only ensure that any future interaction between Brady and Earle will continue to draw intense attention.
