Former college football player Shilo Sanders went out of his way to clear the air during a recent shopping trip in Paris, France, making sure a Levi's saleswoman understood that his younger brother, Cleveland Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders, had no problem affording a pricey pair of custom jeans.

The moment came when the saleswoman pointed out that the jeans cost $795, a comment that Shilo appeared to take as an implication that his brother might hesitate at the price. The former Colorado Buffaloes safety quickly shut down any doubt, emphasizing that Shedeur was more than capable of paying for them and did not need the cost explained.

It also sparked multiple comments on social media. "The judgement was crazy in the beginning. She really thought he didn't have it," an X user posted. "I love that Shilo could sense her micro aggression and flexed on her. Ma'am, do you know who their father is? Do you know who Shedeur is!! He could buy that place lol. She was being weird, period. Pissed me off. What is this, Pretty Woman?"

Shedeur has strong endorsements

Shedeur, who is entering his rookie NFL season as the Browns' starting quarterback, is earning approximately $1.16 million per year on a four-year, $4.6 million contract with the franchise. Beyond his on-field salary, the former Colorado star has built one of the strongest endorsement profiles among young NFL players.

His deals include major global brands such as Nike, Beats by Dre, Gatorade, Ralph Lauren and Mercedes-Benz. Shedeur has also continued to benefit from name, image and likeness partnerships that began during his college career, with companies like Delta Airlines and Panini America remaining part of his portfolio as he transitioned to the NFL.

The brief exchange at the Levi's store offered a lighthearted glimpse into the Sanders family dynamic, with Shilo clearly eager to defend his brother's status and success, and to make sure there was no confusion about just how well the Browns quarterback is doing.

The Browns have two contenders for 2025 AP Awards

The Cleveland Browns will be represented in two major categories when the Associated Press hands out its 2025 NFL awards next month, as Myles Garrett and Carson Schwesinger were named finalists. Winners will be revealed during the NFL Honors presented by Invisalign on Feb. 5 at the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco.

Garrett is once again a finalist for Defensive Player of the Year, marking his third consecutive nomination. The Browns defensive end won the award in 2023 and finished as a finalist again in 2024, continuing a stretch of dominance that has placed him among the most impactful defenders in the league.

The nine-year veteran delivered a historic season in 2025, setting the NFL single-season sack record with his 23rd sack in Week 18. In the process, Garrett also broke the Browns' single-season sack record, a mark he originally set in 2021 and matched in 2022. He became the first player since 1982 to record at least 12 sacks in six consecutive seasons, accomplished that feat in Week 11, and surpassed Hall of Famer Reggie White for the most career sacks by a player under the age of 30.
