Can you imagine being a fan of a team, going for a walk in your neighborhood, and running into your biggest idol? This dream of millions of fans came true for a devoted Buffalo Bills fan.

"Dave" had a memorable moment thanks to the team's quarterback, Josh Allen, who took a picture with him and also gave him great updates on his injury.

The hard blow of Buffalo's 30-33 defeat at the hands of the Denver Broncos in the Divisional Round on Saturday, January 17, still hurts, but the QB was able to bring a smile to a loyal fan of the team.

On X, formerly Twitter, user @dcacb54, named Dave, shared a photo with his followers and the NFL community in which he is seen posing next to Josh, smiling at the camera held by the quarterback.

Accompanying the selfie, Dove added a caption recounting his experience with Allen: "I'm out for a walk today and ran into the best player in the NFL," he said. "As a Bills fan for over 60 years, it was pretty special. Josh is my favorite player by far over all these years. He signed my cap, took our picture. He is such a class act! Kind and gracious!" the fan explained.

He also explained that the 29-year-old NFL star was not wearing his boot following surgery to repair a broken bone in his foot, the fifth metatarsal: "He didn't have his boot on, but he didn't have his shoe on either. I told him to take care of his foot. He said it's all good. The Bills are so lucky to have him! Go Bills!" he concluded.

Other fans on social media were happy for Dave and commented:

"Well, that's cool as hell," said one of them.

"Great story. Thanks for sharing. Josh is genuinely the best even when the camera isn't rolling. Buffalo is so fortunate to have him!" commented another.

"So awesome! Josh is a GOD," wrote a third user.

"I started with the 1960 Bills and have never given up hope. Their 1964 AFL win was fun. It will happen with Josh," predicted another follower.

Meanwhile, Allen is coming off a heartbreaking end to his eighth season in the NFL and with the Bills after losing to the Broncos, being eliminated for the seventh consecutive time on the road to the Super Bowl, and saying goodbye to his dream of winning a Vince Lombardi Trophy for the first time in his career.

Now, in the postseason, Josh will be able to take advantage of his free time to continue recovering, familiarize himself with the team's new program, and get to know head coach Joe Brady.

In addition, Allen will embark on one of the most important stages of his personal life with his wife, renowned singer and actress Hailee Steinfeld, after announcing in December that they are expecting their first child together. Without a doubt, one defeat does not mean the end.
