Following his confirmed departure from the Miami Dolphins, a lot of new girlfriends ahve appeared in Tua Tagovailoa's DMs. His release from the Florida side has not gone unnoticed, generating interest from many other NFL franchises.
According to NFL insider Mike Garafolo, the Atlanta Falcons are currently putting all their efforts to sign him. For a franchise also navigating a complex crossroads at the quarterback position, the potential arrival of Tagovailoa represents a solution for their team regarding the 2026 season.
A needed transition
This move is kind of fascinating, as his potential arrival coud be seen as a schematic fit. Atlanta's offensive infrastructure is already driven by a left-handed signal-caller, young star, Michael Penix Jr.
However, and the key point here, Penix currently sidelined and recovering from a torn ACL, so the Falcons are indeed in a delicate position. By pursuing Tagovailoa, Atlanta ensures they do not have to perform tricks if Penix misses extended time.
