One of the most iconic and controversial moments in music history came in October 2003 at the MTV Music Awards when Madonna, Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera took to the stage to sing 'Like a Virgin' and 'Hollywood'. During their performance, the kiss on the lips between them was a real scandal and was an image that went around the world.

Now, the Princess of Pop has sent an enigmatic message to the Queen of Pop, and she has done so with a text through her account on the social network Instagram. A message full of symbolism and at the same time of admiration.

The text was shared alongside a photograph in which Britney appears with a mask that was the image of the tour she did in 2003, called 'Re-invention'. "The inner beast... I prefer to call it the awakening of the spiritual animal. It's been a long time for me... I know the wild ones better than anyone! However, honestly, we are all the same under the mask we secretly wear every day. Vulnerability, fragility, madness, true innocence... but also confusion, depression, extreme pain, anger... trapped in our heads," the first paragraph begins.
"We go through all this and sometimes the spirit animal is the only way to cross to the other side... it is the most powerful and unknown existence there is, but it is usually defined as 'dangerous!' This image is clearly an understanding: 'DON'T RIDE IT'... Name: XILA RIVER RED ROSE. I admire and respect Madonna more than anyone else... wise, incredibly strong and has remained gentle and cool. Again... DON'T RIDE HER!" she says before ending with an enigmatic postscript: "PS: explore the page, f**k you too!".
The message concludes there, and it is at this point that social networks have been filled with comments trying to decipher the reason for this. Many point out that it is a gesture of support for Madonna who, recently, resumed her artistic activity after some health problems.
