Cristiano Ronaldo has overcome his muscle problem and resumes his hunt for the 1,000th goal of his career. The Portuguese is ready to return to the pitch and has been included in the squad to play against bottom-of-the-table Al Najma

Ronaldo has worked hard to get back into shape and recover from the injury he suffered on February 28, in a match against Al-Fayha. A right thigh injury has kept him out for the entire month of March.

His last goal was against Al-Najma, Al Nassr's rival today. It was the 965th goal for the 41-year-old Portuguese, who returns to lead Joao Felix and company to the title. With eight rounds to go, Jorge Jesus' side have 67 points, three more than second-placed Al Hilal, coached by Simone Inzaghi.
