Hello all and welcome to Marca English's live coverage of the Gervonta Davis vs. Frank Martin fight card.

Before Gervonta Davis and David Benavidez do battle, fans will be treated to one of the better co-mains you will see in boxing all year. The electric David Benavidez will fight for the vacant interim WBC light heavyweight belt against Oleksandr Gvozdyk.

It's not the Canelo Alvarez matchup that everyone wanted, but Gvozdyk is a former light heavyweight champion and has serious pop in his hands. He has only lost one fight in his career, to the incredible Artur Beterbiev in 2019.

Benavidez has a lot to lose and not much to gain. A win gets him to a 29-0 record and lets him keep the interim title, but a loss would put a severe dent in his chances of securing a mega fight next.
