In the early hours of Sunday, April 12, UFC 327 took place in Miami at the Kaseya Center, with the main fight between Jiri Prochazka and Carlos Ulberg in the light heavyweight division, but Donald Trump, president of the United States, was the real star of the night.
He entered accompanied by Dana White and left a bizarre moment with Paulo Costa, who won his fight after knocking out Azamat Murzakanov, as after winning, he jumped the cage to talk to the former US president.
Next to him was Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and Sergio Gor, US ambassador to India. "Thank you for doing what you're doing," were the Brazilian fighter's words to Trump.
"You're a handsome guy. Great fight. Thank you. You could be a model, you look great. You're too handsome to be a fighter. What a fighter you are. Thank you, man," Trump replied, equally effusive in his praise.
All this, two months before the event 'UFC Freedom 250', at the White House on June 14, which will pit Ilia Topuria against Justin Gaethje, among other great fights. A historic evening that also coincides with Trump's 80th birthday.
