The huge success of 'Street Fighter 6' has brought Capcom to bring back one of the most important video game sagas in history. After the re-release of the classic 'Marvel vs Capcom', it will now be the turn for 'Capcom vs SNK'.
This comes days after Capcom celebrated the crossover of 'Street Fighter 6' with 'The King Of Fighters' and 'Fatal Fury' with the additions of Terry Bogard and Mai Shiranui. Not content with this, they have now confirmed the release of 'Capcom: Fighting Collection 2' for this year.
Capcom, 25 years after its idea of facing SNK
This series that crosses Capcom's best characters against SNK's began more than 25 years ago. In 1999 and 2001, fans of fighting games were able to see truly dream matchups, starring the characters of 'Street Fighter', 'Darkstalkers', 'Fatal Fury', 'The King Of Fighters' and more, so it was common to find team fights with Ryu against Iori Yagami, Ken against Kyo Kusanagi, Akuma against Terry Bogard, Morrigan against Mai Shiranui and many more.
