The Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics will mark the return of winter Olympism to Italy and will be held from February 6-22, 2026, with competitions spread across Milan, Cortina d'Ampezzo, Livigno, Bormio, Anterselva and Predazzo. For the U.S. audience, the event will feature full TV and streaming broadcasts, as well as schedules tailored to the East Coast.

Although the opening ceremony will be the official starting point, the sporting activity will begin two days earlier, so coverage in the US will start from the first week of February.

Key dates and times for Milano Cortina 2026 in the United States

The first competitions are scheduled for Wednesday, February 4, 2026, while the Opening Ceremony will be held on Friday, February 6 at Milan's San Siro Stadium.

Due to the time difference between Italy and the United States, most of the events will be seen in the early morning and morning for the East Coast.
