One of the most anticipated and important episodes in the debut of the NFL at the Bernabeu and in Spain was a touchdown, the offensive maneuver par excellence in American soccer. It took a while, as the Miami Dolphins and Washington Commanders went through the first half (6-6) without much offensive clarity. But it came with the conversion of Deebo Samuel, star of the capital team.Samuel, a historic receiver in San Francisco and who is still looking for his place in Washington at a rate of more than $21 million per season, was able to manufacture a short route race that launched his team. It was given by another good action by Gutierrez that placed them in the perfect zone. The South Stand of the Bernabeu then erupted.

It was not for Real Madrid and that place where mosaics and flags abound for its footballers. Yes, it was for the NFL, which fulfilled another tradition at the hands of one of the few players (only four in history) with more than 4,000 receiving yards and more than 1,000 rushing yards in his first six seasons.

The 78,610 spectators saw something unique. As had been the half-time show, the referees speaking in Spanish when deciding aloud after video arbitration or the simple fact of enjoying a league that brings together 15 million Americans per game at the Bernabeu.
