NFL players aren't immune to rumors, lies, and speculation about their personal lives, and Nick Bosa, defensive end for the San Francisco 49ers and the team's 2019 draft pick, is no exception. He had been linked on social media to alleged dating and relationships with singer Megan Moroney and model Lauren Maenner, while Bosa kept a low profile off the field.

The peak of these rumors came as speculation about Moroney being his girlfriend grew, a claim she publicly denied. Maenner was also mentioned, someone Bosa had been linked to a couple of seasons ago, but that relationship had long ended. None of these rumors reflected reality.

Even while sidelined since September due to an anterior cruciate ligament tear that ended his season, Bosa decided to set the record straight in his own way and publicly by uploading a TikTok titled "Coffee and Football Sunday." The video shows him calmly making coffee in an everyday, relaxed setting, until at the end his partner, model Ella Ailiff, appears sitting on his lap as they enjoy the drink together.

From speculation to confirmation

Social media, with its wide reach and attention to the smallest details, quickly amplified the video, turning it into the clear sign many had been waiting for.

Without press releases or big announcements, Bosa and Ailiff made it clear that their relationship is real and that any other rumor remains just that, a rumor. While the defensive end remains focused on his recovery, the video shows there is also room to share moments off the field.
