- NFL. NFL insider predicts the end of Travis Kelce's reign with Kansas City Chiefs
Kylie Kelce pushed back against a viral social media post that referred to Jason Kelce as "her husband" while the couple attended the Winter Olympics in Italy.
Speaking on Thursday's episode of her "Not Gonna Lie" podcast, Kylie Kelce made clear she was frustrated by the phrasing, which she felt sidelined the former Philadelphia Eagles center.
The viral post on X showed an image of the two together attending a women's ice hokcey match with the pair described in the caption as "Kylie Kelce and her husband" prompting her to address the wording directly on air.
"This is ridiculous. Cut that out."
"Some of you may have seen us there courtesy of this tweet that's now going viral. It says Kylie Kelse and her husband supporting Team USA women's hockey," Kylie Kelce said.
"Jason actually just told me about this at breakfast. This is ridiculous. Cut that out. We've leaned too far in the opposite direction. You know what's great? Jason and Kylie Kelce. How about that? That's cool."
Kylie Kelce explained that while she understands the lighthearted tone behind many viral posts, she does not appreciate seeing her husband reduced to a secondary label.
The couple attended the Games while Kylie Kelce worked as a content creator for NBC during its coverage of the Winter Olympics.
Jason Kelce, who retired from the NFL after the 2023 season, remains one of the most recognizable figures associated with the Philadelphia Eagles, where he spent his entire career.
The Super Bowl champion has continued to draw national attention through media appearances and podcasting since stepping away from football.
On the same episode of "Not Gonna Lie," Kylie Kelce also revisited another well-known chapter in her husband's public image - his mullet hairstyle.
"He had the mullet around the birth of Wyatt," she said. "The reason I know that is because I begged and pleaded for him to no longer have the mullet in the photos with our first child. You guessed it. There's a mullet in the photos with our first child's birth."
The comment referenced a look that became part of Jason Kelce's larger-than-life persona during his playing days.
