College basketball is about to begin. As the final bracket pieces fell into place, fans are flocking to official online ticketing sites to secure a spot, no matter the cost.

The 68 teams that will compete in the Men's and Women's NCAA Tournaments were revealed on March 15 at Selection Sunday.

Thirty-one teams in each division automatically qualify by winning their conference championships. The Selection Committee chooses the other teams.

The action kicks off today, March 17 with the First Four in Dayton, Ohio. The first round will be played March 19-20, the second round March 21-22, and the Final Four April 4-6.

What are the ticket prices for March Madness?

First-party tickets are practically sold out. To get your tickets, you'd have to go to secondary markets like StubHub, SeatGeek, or the official Ticketmaster resale.

In these markets, First Four tickets range from $63 to $317 per session on Ticketmaster. First and second round tickets range from $87 to $432 per session.

These prices jump significantly for the regional playoffs. Depending on the region, Sweet 16 tickets range from $138 to $1,600, while Elite Eight tickets range from $343 to $1,900.

The Final Four will be played at Lucas Oil Stadium, with tickets ranging from $322 to $4,700.

Special packages and Fan Experiences

If you want to experience the college basketball playoffs in style, each round offers suites and hospitality packages that include your tickets, pre- and post-game drinks, and other amenities.

In these cases, the NCAA Fan Experience package starts at $650 per person. Package prices vary depending on the cost of the tickets you purchase.
