While in Spain it has been banned to adopt black cats for Halloween, to protect them from satanic rituals, a video from 2021 has gone viral on social networks in which some fans save a cat from dying during a match.
A cat was left hanging from the top of the Hard Rock Stadium during the NCAA football game between Miami and Appalachian State.
The fans improvised a mattress with a United States flag to save the cat's life, which rushed into the void when it ran out of strength.
The Hard Rock Stadium celebrated the cat's rescue as a great goal and the heroes were identified as Craig and Kimberly Cromer.
Craig commented that while the cat was hanging, it urinated on the fans below.
The adoption of black cats in Terrassa is prohibited during Halloween to avoid satanic sacrifices
The City Council of Terrassa has temporarily limited the adoption of black and white cats to protect them from esoteric rituals and sacrifices that usually increase at Halloween and All Saints' Day.
The measure was promoted by the Terrassa Pet Centre and the restriction came into force on October 1 and will remain in place until November 10, 2025.
