The Colorado Buffaloes' 35-21 loss to TCU on Saturday wasn't the only bad news for fans.

During the post-game press conference, Deion Sanders revealed that his health problems are plaguing him again after his recent battle with bladder cancer. And a former NFL player and broadcaster sent him his support.

Coach Prime receives warm words of encouragement

"Cat's out of the bag, all right. I think I've got more blood clots. It don't make sense. I'm hurting like crazy... I'm not getting blood to my leg. That's why my leg is throbbing," Deion told reporters, announcing that he is facing new health problems.

The truth is that his surgeries and blood problems have kept Coach Prime on alert. The formation of clots in his lower extremities already caused him to undergo the amputation of two toes on his left foot while he was at Jackson State. In addition, he revealed that he has a doctor's appointment on Monday to be checked out and find out what is going on.

This confession came as a shock to the community, especially to former Philadelphia Eagles linebacker and current Speakeasy host Emmanuel Acho. "This was tough for me to watch," he began, sending his support to Sanders.

Acho highlighted the difficult situation Coach Prime is going through, having had an amputation and battling cancer while his son Shedeur tries to make his way with the Cleveland Browns and Shilo was cut from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers:

"Deion Sanders is trying to navigate all of these things. And yes, Colorado's two and four - that's the football aspect. But we forget sometimes, when talking about these players and coaches, there's a human dealing with his humanity while also trying to deal with the sport," Emmanuel reflected.

In addition, Acho did not overlook the strength Sanders has shown in fighting the adversities he faces: "Dealing with blood clots is hard if you don't work. Dealing with bladder cancer is hard if you don't work. Now imagine dealing with both while being a head coach of a Power Five school," he noted.

Finally, the former Eagles player sent warm words of encouragement to the 58-year-old coach: "Deion, you're in our thoughts. Deion, you're in our prayers. Obviously, you know that we care about you. We support you. We love you," he said.

Meanwhile, the Buffaloes are 2-3 and 0-3 in Big 12 play. Now, they are preparing to face Iowa State on Saturday.
