- Matthew McConaughey caught in emotional moment with Quinn Ewers after Texas humiliates Michigan
- Sherrone Moore faces uncertain future amidst NCAA investigation
There is no question that Quinn Ewers is one of the most talented players in the nation and on Saturday he led the Texas Longhorns to a dominating victory over the Michigan Wolverines in Ann Arbor.
The signal caller is also one of the most respected student-athletes because of the way he manages himself on and off the field and after the win, he was tested by a fan but he proved to be on top of the situation once again.
After the on-field celebration, Ewers was seen walking towards his teammates when a man and a kid approached so that he could take a picture with the little one; he acceded but when the adult was going to take the picture, he told the kid to do the horns down sign and Quinn walked away, visibly not happy but cool and collected.
That did not stop the party
Of course that Quinn Ewers celebrated with his teammates after big win over Michigan, but also actor Matthew McConaughey was in Ann Arbor partying with the team.
Quinn Ewers had a great game after he threw for 246 yards after completing 24 passes out of 36 attempts and he found players in the endzone three times; he did not throw an interception.
It was a 31 to 12 beating of the Wolverines as the Longhorns are serious contenders in the SEC and for a National Championship. They destroyed Colorado State 52 to 0 in Week 1 and now will face Texas El Paso on Saturday.
