Surprising what does not happen to Madonna. The artist has now been the victim of a robbery at Sabrina Carpenter's concert last Friday at Coachella 2026. The singer herself explained that several 'vintage' garments from her collection were stolen and she was quite affected by the incident
"It's been 20 years since I performed at Coachella. I was in the dance tent and it was the first time I performed the first part of Confessions on a Dance Floor in America. It was exciting and it's exciting to be back. It's like coming full circle, you know? Very meaningful for me," she said, with an emotional tone about the reunion.
In fact, the singer wanted to pay tribute to the moment by wearing the same clothes she wore back in 2006 when she performed at the same event. "I'm so excited to be here with the same boots, the same corset and the same Gucci jacket that I wore then. It's a very exciting full circle for me," she said.
The reward Madonna gives
Shortly after performing, the artist discovered that these vintage clothes she wore on stage had disappeared. "This moment when everything has come full circle hit me in a special way until I discovered that the vintage clothes I was wearing had disappeared: my wardrobe, taken from my personal archives: jacket, corset, dress and all the other clothes".
But it didn't stop there. "Other archive items from the same period have also gone missing," Madonna herself added: "They are not just clothes, they are part of my history". Far from filing a complaint, the artist has provided an e-mail from her agent's team, as well as images of the missing garments and has implored that "some kind soul find these clothes" and return them in exchange for a reward.
