- Jennifer Lopez splits from Ben Affleck again
During her 'Up All Night' residency in Las Vegas, Jennifer Lopez opened up to the audience about one of the most difficult moments of her life: her divorce from Marc Anthony, to whom she was married for 10 years. The artist spoke about what it was like to become a single mother of twins and how dance became her refuge. “I was a single mother with two three-year-old twins,” she recalled, referring to Max and Emme, who are now 18 years old.
The evening began with humor, as it usually does, and she joked: "After my third divorce, that's when I really started to get good at this." However, she soon became emotional: "In all seriousness, that was actually a really hard time," she confessed, describing the challenges of balancing motherhood with a demanding professional career.
Lopez shared a piece of advice that deeply marked her, from her mentor and self-help author Louise Hay: "When you're learning a dance and you get the steps wrong, what do you do? I keep going until I get the steps right. That's it, Jennifer. Keep dancing always." The singer added: "Whatever happens, dance, dance, dance over and over again. I love you so much!".
Jennifer Lopez on her personal relationships: "It's not about the money. I don't want your stuff"
She also offered reflections on relationships and empowerment: "Women don't need much... just a little sugar, sweetness and kindness, and we'll give you a lot in return," she said with a laugh. "It's not about the money. I don't want your stuff. I bring my own microphone," she continued.
Despite her turbulent love life, four marriages and several media relationships, including her recent story with Ben Affleck, Lopez maintains a positive outlook: "Not for a second do I regret my love decisions... That doesn't mean it didn't cost me, it almost did, but now I think: 'That's just what I needed'"
With her testimony, the singer left a message of resilience, independence and passion for life, reminding us that overcoming difficult times requires courage and perseverance.
