The time is almost here for the "fight of the century". While the hype around it may not fully warrant that tag, Saturday's matchup between Canelo Alvarez and Terence Crawford has the potential to be a truly can't-miss spectacle. That's because two of the best pound-for-pound boxers in recent history will be going head-to-head.

In the build-up to the fight, Canelo and Crawford have traded some verbal jabs every now and then, but it has ultimately been a respectful promotional period. That was apparent in the final face-off before fight night, too. On Friday, following the weigh-in, Alvarez and Crawford shook hands and showed respect for each other. But before that, Alvarez had to stop the show with an epic outfit that had fans hearkening back to a famous martial artist and actor.

Canelo Alvarez reminds people of Jean-Claude Van Damme at weigh-in

Canelo wore an all-black fit, with a black wifebeater, slacks, belt and sunglasses. The look brought back memories of Jean-Claude Van Damme, who had a similar get-up in the film, "Kickboxer".

Van Damme started out as a mixed martial artist before venturing into Hollywood and turning into one of the most recognizable personalities in the movie industry during the late 1980s and 1990s.

Alvarez will use his boxing, not kickboxing, skills on Saturday night in an attempt to defend his undisputed titles against the hungry Crawford.
