Hamzah Sheeraz is not afraid of Saul "Canelo" Alvarez, despite the respect and idolatry he has for the Mexican.

The promising super middleweight contender, who is coming off a win over Edgar Berlanga, does not care if he is knocked out by "Canelo".

What did Hamzah Sheeraz say about a fight with Saul "Canelo" Alvarez?

"I won't sit here and talk bad about someone like [Canelo]. But it would be an honor to share the ring with him. Someone who I've looked up to. But one thing I can guarantee is that if I ever share the ring with Canelo, it's not going to be like what happened in his last fight [against William Scull], where his opponent was trying to run. I promise you, even if I get knocked out, I'll stay there and fight him. So, I'll put on a good performance, because that's what it's all about."

Even if "Canelo" defeats Crawford, Sheeraz would probably fight another opponent to at least stay in shape before getting that chance to fight Saul "Canelo" Alvarez either as champion or challenger.
